Takino Suzuran Park, Hokkaido's only state-run park, covers an expansive area of 400 hectares that requires a drive. In the park, forests, rivers, waterfalls and other natural scenery are all covered with pride. When you visit the park, it is divided into four main areas: the vast central area, the eastern forest area, the western forest area, and the stream area. The Eastern Forest area has many amusement facilities, while the Western Forest is close to the mountains and open up nature. The central district has many well-organized flower beds and Flower Garden, while the stream area has creeks and waterfalls. In particular, Atsubetsu Falls in the stream area is one of the top 100 waterfalls in Japan, and it is worth a look.
