Kengun ShrineKengun Shrine

As one of the Aso Four Shrines, it is considered the oldest shrine in Kumamoto City. The approach from the grand torii gate to the main hall stretches 1200 meters, making it one of the key highlights. The spacious grounds offer numerous photography spots, where you can enjoy a traditional kimono wedding shoot in a solemn atmosphere. It is also an excellent location for cherry blossom viewing in spring and autumn foliage in the fall. It’s recommended to combine this location with other photography spots in Kumamoto City for a complete and memorable experience.
