Zakimi Castle is the remains of Zakimi Castle, which was built in 1422 and is now a World Heritage Site. The walls surrounding the castle are not more straight than usual, but have a unique curve created by stone walls. The construction is highly skilled, and there is the oldest bow-shaped stone gate in Okinawa, which is worth seeing. After half a century of ups and downs, wars and changes, the stone walls of that time are fortunate to be preserved and presented to the world. It is a location where you can experience the history of Okinawa.
