Kuraki Noh Theater, originally built in 1917 in Tokyo’s Hibiya district, was relocated here in 1965. Surrounded by mountains on three sides, the garden features a pond and walking paths, offering an elegant setting to enjoy the changing seasons and the sounds of nature.
The Noh stage inside the traditional Japanese-style room was created to preserve the classical performing arts of Noh and Kyogen. The stage’s backdrop is a masterpiece by a renowned artist, holding great artistic value. This site has also nurtured several Living National Treasures. It is a perfect location to capture both natural scenery and traditional Japanese performing arts in your outdoor photography.
