We are always on the lookout for fresh, undiscovered, and naturally beautiful outdoor locations.
One of our proudest discoveries is Tamba Sasayama, located in central Hyogo Prefecture, just over two hours from our Kobe studio.
Historically part of the old Tanba Province, this area was once a key transportation hub connecting Kyoto.
Its streets, culture, and traditional festivals still carry a strong influence from Kyoto’s rich heritage.
On the ruins of Sasayama Castle from 200 years ago, a reconstructed grand audience hall stands, complete with authentic folding screens and paintings that are true historical artifacts.
It’s a popular destination for Japanese schools, and you’ll often find adorable children visiting, adding a charming touch to the atmosphere.
