The story begins in early September:
The couple arrived as promised. Though a typhoon had just passed, we were grateful to the heavens 🙏 for blessing us with clear weather.
Every leaf of midsummer seemed freshly cleansed, blending beautifully with the splendid kimono and vibrant greenery, adding rich colors to our shoot.

The earth, washed by the rain, carried a fresher fragrance.

Looking up at the sky, every cloud seemed to send blessings and cheers to the newlyweds, whispering: Welcome here—please shine in all your beauty.

Then, the clouds turned playful, as if to bring a little surprise!
We hurried to a Japanese vending machine to shelter from the rain. It turned out heaven was playing a small joke on us, and soon after, we returned to the ancient streets, radiating beauty after the storm. Let’s get excited and be the brightest stars of this street!

In such a beautiful ancient capital, how could we miss the presence of a torii gate? Let’s follow the rhythm and move together.

Another wave of wind and rain came, and we found ourselves standing on the narrow wooden bridge (Ipponbashi), gazing at the flowing river.

Though the first half of the day brought storms—clear skies, thick clouds, and even heavy downpours—it all felt like a dream. Who says typhoon weather cannot bring surprises?
If there was any regret, it was only that we didn’t get to see a rainbow.
